I guess I am just documenting this whole design process so here is the next stage:
Still not a finished piece…I like most of the texturing, but I may fix the specularity on the text towards the right, especially on “destroyer” and probably will fill out the foreground with some additional iterations of the atoms, if I decide to keep them…I have not decided if I like that yet or not. Regardless, I still need post processing and depth of field. Thoughts/comments?

Suggestions for style/appearance? I was thinking a 3d atom either cel-style or post-processed retro with the quote wrapped around the “electron rings”…that or just very dark/grunge effect…or have it on a piece of paper sitting on a lab bench…I have not really decided to be honest. Comments/Suggestions?

This would be Harry Dresden fighting a toad demon.
Yes, the demon is wearing a trench coat while it leaps at him.
Yes, Harry Dresden is naked holding his staff into the sky.
I would humbly like to point out, he is ON LIGHTNING. Harry Dresden is far too bad-ass to simply be on fire…no this man right here…he must be ON LIGHTNING while fighting a demon naked while his girlfriend watches.
Now. I think I will just leave this here for everyone.
